AdirondEx, very nice Sir! I like the way you've presented the martini. I hate vodka but looking at your presentation makes me want one. Very nice property you have there. I was expecting to see one of those pyramids with the eyeball down one of those paths.
Thank you. The house is just a modest 3bd 2 Bath ranch but it's on 18 acres of virgin land full of wildlife and no neighbors in sight. I feel guilty not staying there much but living on the water was something I always dreamed of. My plan is to get a place down south for part of the winter but I just can't bring myself to sell it.
Thank you. I forgot I had a S&W Bodyguard.380 in my pocket and my S&W Shield 9mm is in my truck. What kind of guns are you guys allowed to have? I thought long barreled revolvers were ok. We are thinking about driving to Alaska in the not too distant future and from what I gather I will have to have my pistols shipped from Montana or somewhere into Alaska and pick them up there and reverse the procedure coming back. PITA, but I'm not traveling 10k miles without them. Hell, I may want to run up to Teddy's and have lunch one day. I guess I'll have to stash them at the border somewhere.
Lots of hoops to jump through but we were allowed to have hand guns as long as the barrels were 4.2" and up and a variety of rifles including carbines with a restricted license. Just got my letter from the government that most of my fun guns are now considered illegal and I can't leave the house with them even to go to a range. That's what a liberal government will do you you.
Hey Tom, if you don't mind me asking, your friend just up and disappeared your car? Never to be seen again? Damn, that must have been tough to swallow. Did you call the police?

On another note, "bartstard" rang a bell. One of the funniest conversations I've seen on here, in another thread, was between you and your buddy about his black "bartstard" cat and his katana blade claws. That cracked me up.
i was being PC with the borrowed comment. some low life piece of dog excrement stole it.
never to be seen again. i think it was driven 30 miles north to port newark and loaded into a container to go over seas.
and no i did not call police, it was taken out of the police lot while i was on duty. when i pulled in the lot i went inside and called the wife to see if she had it, then told the desk sergeant someone stole it.
they thought i was joking..... i had pics of it, and a lot of my other toys, but i lost everything when the old house was flooded.
about onyx (the black bartstard cat) you should see pictures of him "playing" with brown recluse spiders.
he likes to pull the legs off one at a time until legless. then he eats them.
That really sucks about the car. I worked in an auto repair shop in my late teens, we had a 73 455Trans Am in there one time, someone broke in at night, loaded that car with tools & drove off. It was found about a week later, totally trashed. It was such a beautiful car. Just a waste.
On the other hand, that cat sounds evil! Lol
Good morning all, was planning on resealing my deck today, since I pressure washed it yesterday. Woke up this morning to rain that wasn't in the forcast. Guess I have to make other plans (or no plans) for today. Hope you all have a good one.

Love your setup. Garage/workshop across the lawn close enough to keep an eye on things in both directions. Nice landscaping and the detached covered deck looks like a great spot to hang out rain or shine. I wanted to build something similar at my place because when it rains you have to go indoors but push back from Momma for "blocking the view" makes it a no-go for the time being. We'll see ...

Nice place Matt. Looks like a well manicured park. Lots of string trimming on yard day, I'll bet. Is that a topless midget in the background?

lol! Yes! My topless midget. she was a gift.
quite a bit of weedeating but I only do it once a month since it grows slowly from all the trees. Keeping up the place is a job in itself, but it's worth it.

Thanks! The shop is a 30x40 with central heat and A/C, gotta keep the superduty comfortable. I built the little porch a few years ago. It's a nice place to kick back & enjoy some adult beverages. I never run out of things to do, I just run out of do to get things done.
Ok dudes I'll update later......going to Lowes and Walley with Wifey. Masks all that crap.
and remember my niece's dog Zeus? Taking him also. Old pic but you get the idea. He really does wear this mask too
People laugh at me but I'd rather get laughed at than catch hell from my niece.
That's good stuff right there, Skags. Meanwhile over in tech, Favorite Luxury Feature thread, the Master Y2K busts Katzskins sales dude trying to be slick. He's like the FBI of FTE.

Got the perfect companion for the midget, a friend just bought a few of these for his pool. The seller doesn't advertise but will make them per "special" request. lol Definitely not for the front lawn.
