Craftsman tool boxes?
Everybody loves to knock sears tools saying they are not as good as they used to be. You are probably correct but is anything made like it used to be? The boxes are excellent for the price and as long as you stay away from the cheapest ones they will last years.
Mines just a walmart brand metal one... 3 drawer with a fold up lid.
Ive had a ton of stuff in it and it's worked really nice
Taken a ton of abuse and only problem I've had are the latches getting bent, but i bend them back and it works fine

I compared quality and price with MAC, Snap-On, and Cornwell. The Pro-series is equal to any of them, and the price was even better, discounted 15% due to being enrolled in a technical program at the local CC.
My only complaint is it's already too small.
Congratulations !!
I'm sure you will be happy with it.
Say . . there is a tradition around this house that the "Cool new toy/tool" get's to spend the first night in the house (so we can "admire it").
Are you allowed to do that? Is it in the middle of the livingroom yet? Don't forget to set it on a rug so you don't get in trouble for scratching the floor!
I have just figured out the secret to staying a bachlor.
As of tomorrow I am pitching my bedroom furnature & replacing it with roll aways. Maybe use jack stands in place of the bed frame. Use top boxes under the bed for more storage.
Best part of this scheme is that I can lock them all and never lose a shirt to a skirt again!
