Hi everyone,
I purchased a 1995 Bronco Eddie Bauer edition with 108,000 miles with the 5.8 v8. Its load with almost every option from the factory; but that can also be a bad thing due to some issues I'm having to sort out on this truck. The main problem I'm trying to address right now is the overhead console. When you turn the key to accessorie it will light up. But when you turn the truck on it's just blank no lights. So does anyone have any ideas about what the problem could be? Heres a photo of it on the accessorie postion
The one in my ‘94 died a slow painful death. The temperature was way off. Then it started taking longer and longer to power up until one day it didn’t.
Not sure if this is still available. Copied it a while back till I get a chance to look at mine.https://www.fullsizebronco.com/forum...splay-fix.html overhead console repair. The stock capacitor is usually a Nichicon brand A9531. It has since been discontinued. Good riddance, it clearly wasn't that great. However, I'm told Nichicon is a good manufacturer and so my replacement was another Nichicon and ordered it through Digi-Key, which is a great seller. Their site is a little tricky so just put in the part numbers and go that way. Digi-Key part number: 493-11653-1-ND Manufacturer part number: UPV0J121MFD1TD
