I recently found out why my shifter has been sloppy but I am having a hard time finding the part I need.
I have posted some pictures and videos of what I'm trying to find. The first photo I have circled is an area where I believe a bushing should be.
When you move the shifter, there is A LOT of play there. The nut on the shift rod is tight.
The second picture is the shifter itself. You can see that the hole where the pin goes in is wore out.
I'm not sure that I am going to be able to fix that. I think I might have to buy a new one. Let me know what you guys think.
There is no bushing on the trans shift linkage, NONE!
The only bushing is on the selector lever located at the bottom of the steering column:

Like Numberdummy said, there's no bushing in the trans selector lever. When you disassemble the linkage you'll find the selector arm and stud both have wear. The only real solution is to replace both pieces. Replacing the stud is easy, to replace the arm you'll have to drop the trans pan and remove the valve body to get to the arm.

So I need this washer then?
I am not in a position to where I can drop the trans pan to replace the lever that goes into the trans.
Is there not an aftermarket stud that I can use?
