not sure if the bd kit will work that way,
shutting it off at an uppfitter.
right now if you defeat the high idle on the BD kit( by pressing brake or any of the other safeties), you have to rotate the **** to the OFF position then rotate to the desired idle rpm
if you kill it with the uppfitter you might have to do the OFF then back ON on the bd kit ****????
I installed the BD kit about a year ago and it does in fact work via the upfitter. I clipped the yellow wire and wired it to upfitter #1 (sorry no pics). Once all was connected, I turned on the upfitter and then adjusted the pot **** to my desired RPM. From that point on, I just use the upfitter to turn the idle on and off as desired. I mounted the potentiometer in the upper left of the lower glove box. If I want higher or lower RPM, I simply turn the pot accordingly, but I never have to cycle it off or anything like that.
I'm planning to use this configuration. My only concern is that I don't see a fuse. After looking at it more, I'm not certain if it needs one as all the circuits are likely fused already. Has anyone confirmed that?
The upfitter source is fused. The outputs from the PCM are fused internally.

Ok thanks, that’s what I was hoping for. So it would be the yellow wire on the plug side of bd kit? Just clip it there and attach that wire to upfitter? I also planned on putting the **** in the upper glove box if I can. Haven’t dug around in there yet. Kit just arrived
It’s fits good in there. Just finished. Already hooked upfitter to pass through wire. Now just have to plug it in and connect the yellow wire but I’m running out of daylight.
