eeewww! plus a couple other spots also, have you seen crashtestdummys thread about fixing our ECM's, might be worth a shot to PM him

I did see that. I am just happy that I could see that there may be something wrong with it. I found one for $98. It sucks that this one is less than 3 years old though.

In your defense, it is unknown what/if they changed any/all or just the usual bad Caps, and leaving the other 25+ yr.ld. parts in there

I found out that my neighbor had the equipment and parts to fix the ecm. It runs better than it ever did before.
