Thank you. I've been searching the web and the six forums and could not find the answer on the length. I was certain they were shorter because the differences in the flywheel and the flex plate thickness.

I haven't installed an auto, so I don't know. I do know that you have to coat the threads in sealant or loctite since they'll leak oil otherwise, so I don't think they bottom out. I *think* you'd get away with longer bolts just fine. You just don't want to use the shorter ones on a manual, or you won't have very many threads.
