Bolts

Hi guys,

I am in search of the diameter and length of the following bolts for a 351:

Pressure plate
Flywheel
Reat trans mount

Any help that saves me from tearing apart my set-up would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike

I don't have those off the top of my head but I'll look through my stuff today and get them for you, post 'em when I come home from work if someone hasn't already done so.

One I can give you now is the flywheel bolts. They are: 7/16-20 X 1 and should be specifically for flywheels, grade 8. You can often get them in a bubble pack in the performance section of most auto parts stores.

Okay, here's what I came up with for the other two:

Pressure plate to flywheel: 5/16-20 X 3/4

Trans mount to transmission: 1/2-13 X 1-1/2 (may vary in length according to application)

UPDATE: I just got a new (old) trucks with an NP435 tranny. The transmission mount bolts were missing, so I had to install new ones today. They turned out to be 7/16-14 X 1, so my earlier info is apparently not all-inclusive. (BTW, this is on the '68 F250 in my sig.)
