a little help please
I am doing a swap in my 70 wagon- np 435 to c4 auto. Dropped the manual tranny and went to bolt up the flex plate using the bolts from the flywheel and they appear to be too long by a small amount. looking at the crank- these holes go all the way thru- if I force them in will they rub on the end journal caps? Is their a difference from flex plate bolts and fly wheel boltsn length? Maybe right because the fly wheel is wider- if so where do I get them, I am assuming ford obsoleted them. Also can I use a washer to take up the slack- will it effect the clearace or balance?
