Door weather-stripping
Is this supposed to look like this? This weatherstripping looks kinda flat and doesn't seal on either on my doors. Maybe to was old old stock or just poorly made. It looks pretty new, just bad.
Anybody ever tried this guys? https://www.prp.com/product/detail/105442.
It looks more round and might seal the doors.
Anyone ever seen this Precision stuff?
thanks

They shut fine, and the gaps look good. When they are shut I can still push on the door from the outside and get quite a lot of play.
The wind noise is quite loud. The weatherstripping isn’t filling the gaps.
i taped the door gap one day to ascertain where the noise was coming from at it was the tops of the doors.

I bought a new windshield rubber for my 51 M5 and it seems to be of good quality. It was a Precision product. They are made in Taiwan. So I went ahead and bought the door seals for my 52 M3 and am in the process of installing them. They seem to be exact replicas of the originals. They are also Precision products. I bought these from Rubber The Right Way as they had the best pricing from all the suppliers. Once I install them I will post what I think of them, hopefully in the next couple days. Doug.
