I've been down this path ....

If parts are on backorder at the warehouses, or no longer available, any dealer has the ability to search the inventory of dealers nationwide. There are a lot of parts out there on shelves, mis-ordered or no longer needed. It's how we end up with NOS parts. A good dealer will search, others think it's a waste of time.

I'm thankful for them. I wanted the correct spring in the front. Aftermarket was too vague in their descriptions and didn't want one that was too light or much stiffer than I originally had.

You have experienced the reason why I primarily buy parts from ANWBL, and also why I do business with FICMRepair.com , AND highly recommend them. They go out of their way to help people in special circumstances. There are a few other business that fall into that same category. Mike at ANWBL is an extraordinarily helpful and knowledgeable person ...he is a very big part of a successful internet-sales department (and an active forum member on several forums)!

Some people on the forum sometimes seem "judgmental" at the expense for some of the parts I buy (and recommend), but when key people in these businesses go out of there way to help not only myself, but other forum members ....... I have no reservations with spending some extra money to do business with them. Believe me .... I have the ability to be VERY cheap and find low cost DIY solutions, I pick and choose the circumstances for that. As in everything though, people get moved eventually, and sometimes that above-and-beyond service disappears. IMO, when that happens, it is time to move on.

Glad you finally found what you were looking for!
