12 volt switched question

where can I get a connector that fits the yellow triple 12 volt keyed switched power connector
that is behind the gauges?

can I go from the connector to a relay and then to ground with that power source?

12 volt keyed connector in pic below?

If I recall correctly, those are .180" bullet connectors. You can find them on E-bay, Del City, etc.

Are you looking for a single connector to use in each port? Or one the has the 3 and individual wires? Maybe a 4 pin flat connector, might work with a bit of modification? https://mechanicalelements.com/trailer-wiring-diagram/

Wiring section of the auto store. Many times there’s those connectors with 6-12” of wire pre-made.

The trailer 4 pin flat connector fits like a champ. I tried it behind the headlight switch and the one behind the glove box. And it can be bought at pretty much every place like Walmart, auto parts stores.

NO they are constant 12V power as far as I know. The one behind the headlight switch area provides power in a single wire up the A pillar to the dome light (other 2 ports are not used) and the one behind the glove box area provides power to the glove box light and cig lighter. Again though just one port used, it is a T wire) At least on my 79 F250 it does.
