oil consumption just started
these 7.3's aren't in wrecking yards out here, i ordered mine online for about $15, only complaint is that it isn't as wide as the oem it's 1/8", but a good seal at the top of the tube.

I ordered a replacement dipstick a few years ago. I threw it in the trash 30 seconds after opening the box. It was a cheap POS that was more flimsy, a bit shorter and more narrow when compared to the OEM dipstick.
If you find the replacement you bought resembles the OEM dipstick, please post the part number and source.
