Electrical Problems

I have a 2002 F250 7.3, there are several electrical problems I am dealing with right now such as dome light doesn't work when the door is open, reverse parking aid sensors, radio stays on after door opens, warning sound when keys left in the ignition doesn't work and my battery drains after a couple of days if I don't drive it. I believe it to be the VSM. The problem I have is Ford doesn't sell these anymore and I was hoping someone could tell me a reliable company that could get me the module I need. The Original P/N on the module is 2C7T-15K602-AJ.
Any info would great. Thanks.

Thanks Colorado 350...The problem I'm having is I can't buy it from the dealer anymore and I'm hoping someone has an idea where I can get one. Preferably someone reputable.

The thread gives you two options that will work. Through it into Google, let google search for you. I’m sure there’s several on eBay...

E-Bay was out of stock, I did find some through google but the companies had terrible reviews so I was scared to order through them. I will keep looking. Thanks.

First try removing the VSM and cleaning the connectors. Inspect for water intrusion. Put it somewhere warm and dry for a day. A pic of the connections would help.

That said, they typically simply fail. But clinging to hope is often the path to victory.

there is a relay in the fuse box under the dash that controls some of these items. It is the accessory battery saver. It took me a year to track down my gremlin and I had some of the same issues. Easy 15 dollar repair and a lot easier to deal with than pulling the vsm.mine was part # F0AB-14B192-AA. Might be worth a shot.
