'01 7.3 w/ 4r100 issues

As the title states, I've got a 2001 F250 7.3 w/ a 4r100. I havent driven it much recently, probably only 500 miles over the past couple years combined. Mostly just start it occassionaly and drive it around the yard as of this year.

I remember recently occasionally getting a "hopping" feeling up and down on occasion going down the road (especially once the TC engaged), which makes me lean towards thinking torque converter issue. Forward and reverse worked fine last start a month or two ago.

Started her today to drain some water out the bed and everything seemed fine for the half mile I drove down the road, excluding a slight slipping sound almost (as if you were slightly push the clutch on occasion in a manual and hear the engine rev slightly - i was barely accelerating while driving since it was a cold start). I went to turn around, and it wouldnt go in reverse. Just revved when I hit the gas.

After popping about 12 blood vessels, I managed to push the truck backwards far enough so that I could pull out forward. Put it in Drive and engine sorta revved when hit the gas at first but then "caught" and I limped back home. I had the "hopping" return while only going about 25 on the way back. When I stopped in the drive way, the truck acted like wanted to keep going and didnt disengage like it should when on the brake. Put it in Park and engine idle returned to normal.

Is this torque converter symptoms or something different I need to deal with?

Thanks

The first thing I recommend checking is the fluid level. All of those symptoms can be caused by low transmission fluid.

I will double check that today and report back with my findings. Thanks

Got the truck started and went to check the trans dipstick and it was bone dry. After adding about a half a quart, I notice I had an "oil" leak, unsure of what type. The grounds so wet right now, i couldnt get a good look except with my phone.

Does this by chance happen to be my trans cooler leaking here (pic taken on passenger side)? If so, that would make sense as to why my fluid was low, hopefully the only cause of all my issues as well.
