Pioneer DEHP-9400 head unit
Rockford-Fosgate fanatic Q's in all four corners (5.25)
Punch 500II for the low end
Punch 400IV for the highs
3 10" Boston Comps for the low end
all installed/built by me
I'm new to this site, but very much into audio. I just bought my buddies 98 f150, and when he had it we installed a tight audio system. We completly removed the back seat and built a custom enclosure that holds the two 12" Audiobahn subs and a 1000 watt Legacy amp, and this bumps. The head unit is a panasonic touch screen, and i think the speakers are still stock, and i might have to do something about upgrading those here shortly. I might be able to post pics if anybody wants them and tells me how to.....

If you don't have anywhere to load the pictures to the web you can use your gallery on this site. Once you have your pictures on the web somewhere, pull up the pics, right click on them and select properties and there should be a text box labeled target. It'll be a long http address, copy the address, now in your post type . Repeat with any other pictures. It's not as hard as it sounds.
Well as for my system, its not all that impressive.
Its a Blaupunkt Miami CD HU, 2 cerwin vega 6.5's in the doors with some Lightning Audio 6x9's also in the doors.
Behind the seat i've got a 10" Polk Audio sub running off a 400w sony xplod.
93 f150 ext. cab
Pioneer DEH-P750mp HU
Polk 650dbs in the doors
JBL Px300.4 for the PA's (very nice, but very big)
JL 500/1 pushing single 10w3v2 in a .80cf hybrid box
This setup is nice for now, need more bass. Thinking about some 5x7s in the rear panels...nahh, stronger sub. Any suggestions in 10 inch, two car seats take up 2/3 of the rear bench.
I removed the metal plate under my 2004 CC f-250. I placed my jack etc there. I removed the rear panel behind the back seat also. I just need to cut down boxes so they will fit. ALso I need to remove my back seat so I can install my boxes.
The dims of the area hehind the back seat are
18in height max, bottom depth 8 1/2 max and on top i think was 3in. It depends how long your box is. There are 2 plastic pieces that go through the cab that take up about 1-1 1/4in. of depth.
It you plan on using 1 box in the center you would be fine.
I drew it in can as a ref.. I will post it later.
since my 42 pickuptruck obviously wont have a system (duh ) here is the system in my 1996 ford contour so far:
pioneer deh 2400F HU
pioneer 3 ways in doors
alumapro alusonic 8" in sealed box in rear deck
crossfire amp
im thinking of doing this as my next step (have someone to mold it for me) it's a 10" lambda sub where the glove compartment used to be. this pic is a work in progress from another contour:
what do you guys think? i cant decide if i want to do that or not...
