All of this will bw installed when i find a good alarm system, and I goto redo the interior. The int. is gonna be included with the audio, I'll pry go with tweed all around to rid the crappy sounding plastic panels, and get that custom car look, and then I can build the amp boxes into the interior cameleon-like. That way the amp case a,d subs, are kind like bench seat sorta thing with the tweed on it, like it is part of the interior.
The amp case will pry house the battery, and all the amps. Dont know yet, but i might run a new alt, using the no-longer used smog-pump bracket, and have that alt. feed only the audio battery mounted in the back of the truck...Might save on long lengths of expensive thick wire that way (please email me with sugg. spaceganja@ameritech.net )
That will also allow me to put in a cooling fan and duct to keep air moving across the amps and have it all "hidden" to keep dirty hands out of my truck!
All of that should have me a very loud, and clean sounding audio system that PinkFloyd will sparkle with.
Any suggestions on the alternator issue would be appreciated...also...anyone ever heard of winding their alts. with silver wire??? just a question...silver conducts elect. WAYYYY better?

Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
[B]I think interstate is also making a gell cell monster that discharges 1900 amps and has an unlimited recharge amperage rating, so if you can dump 200 amps from an alternator into it, it'll take it.
Interstate does not make a battery, they only distribute them, they have manufacturers make them for them and put their name on them. However, they do stricktly specify their standards before they put their name on it!
I am going to see about removing the floor crap. I have 2 carseats in back so i won't be needing the floor crap. Do you have any pics of the center console? At the moment i have 2 10" kenwoods in truck boxs. I would like to see if they would fit under the seat. If not maybe i will trade by bro for his tube.
Pioneer DEH-P6500 CD/AM/FM Deck w/ Remote, Boston Acoustics 5X8 componets w/seperates in all 4 doors, Rockford Solo-Baric Square Kicker L7 12" Woofer in Sealed Enclosure, 1 Farad Cap, Alpine V12 MRD-M500 500 Watt RMS Mono Block Digital Amp and Alpine V12 MRV-F340 50X4 Watts RMS MOSFET Amp.
Total Cost of Stereo: $2500 and 4 days of work. I did my own install with all joints soldered and shrinkwrapped with power down the left and audio down the right. i have the pics on my user gallerie.... check em out... since the photo of the cap i have cleaned up the way the red cable goes to the dist. block.. so excuse that ugly little loop thats there.
I gutted a regular cab 2003 F150 stepside and went wacko on sound deadening, then stuffed it like a big fat Thanksgiving Day Turkey:
Blaupunkt CD/MP3/WMA w/ six 4 volt pre-outs (2 sub outs @ 100hz), and an Aux input for a 30 gig hard drive;
Power by Aura Mobile Reference 6 channel amp w/mixed stereo/mono 2 ohm capability and 3 active crossovers;
Coustic V-series Power Logic component 5 1/4 mids and 1" tweets. The mids are mounted in my own custom made kick panel enclosures, and the tweets are still making the rounds before they find a place to call home.
Peerless CSC-X 6 1/2 woofers are mounted, via seperate insulated and damped sheetmetal baffles, in seriously modified doors obtained in a swap with the owners of an alien spacecraft.
And just to make sure that when the bass drum kicks, it kicks you in the @#$; two bazooka subs behind the seats, corner loaded.
It's not a Bumper- it's a rocker.
(although, on occasion I will lets friends play their "mix" now that I have the unbreakable glass in the Alien Spacecraft doors).
Okay, now everybody- Saturday, 12:00 midnight pacific time, we all get in our rides- roll down our windows- pop in our War "Low Rider" CD's- and CRANK IT!!!!
