Dorman makes a replacement steel pan or you can go to Ford Parts. If you don't want to buy new bolts (steel pan bolts are shorter), you can cut off the plastic pan bolts with hacksaw. You cna check eBay or Amazon for the pans. The Ford part number for the pan bolts is W714962 S437.
I like the EZ-Drain. Some seem to like the Fumoto. Functions are the same as are the prices.
the steel pan uses silicone instead of a gasket.

My 2011 still has the original plastic oil pan so I’m thinking of doing a replacement as well. It seems to me an aluminum pan would have better thermal heat dissipating properties than a plastic one. You can also get a pan that will hold an addition qrt of oil or 3. Seems like a win\win.
have you decided which pan to get?

I highly recommend the kit from SPE. They provide a kit which includes the Motorcraft pan, bolts and sealant.

I replaced mine from the plastic to the steel pan in fear of it cracking while driving across fields. Was supposed to buy new bolts because the plastic bolts are too long but I just cut about 1/2" off the bolts and reused. Be sure you start a nut or die on the bolt before you cut so you can chase the threads. Bought it from Amazon. Even was stamped Ford. Also no gasket, just silicone.
