Smile Thank You To All!

After 15 years I'm finally back in the Powerstroke Family! I made my new purchase yesterday on a 2019 F250 6.7 XLT Premium, Crew Cab, FX4. I have been reading this forum for almost a year now and i've picked up a TON of valuable information on the 6.7 itself, MSRP, PCO, Ford ESP, invoice price, hold back, refinancing and the list goes on. Let me tell you that i encountered almost all of that at the dealership i was at yesterday and everyone here helped me prepare for that and i thank you. I'd like to think i got a good deal with MSRP being $62,115 and with dealer discounts and rebates, i got the truck for $51,125, plus TTL. I am really excited to be back in one, but also scared at the same time on maintaining this bad boy. So you better believe i will be on this forum even more, listening to the guys who have had these a lot longer than me.

Congrats 11k off! I wish I could have secured a deal like that. I thought I was doing good with 8k off MSRP on a leftover '16.

congrats! So no full throttle take offs, vary the speed and just generally take it easy for the few miles. Let the powertrain get to know you.

Book says no towing for 1K miles but if you (I would) then just take it easy.

Check all those fluids fairly often. I check mine weekly.

What he said! Welcome to the club. I would recommend a digital monitor to watch the PIDS ( info that is in the ECM like EGTs, Regen status, ECT, fuel pressure at the HPFP, etc.). Some guys use an Edge, some guys like myself use a Banks iDash 1.8 and some guys use a phone or tablet with an app like Torque Pro or FORScan. Lots of info here in the 6.7 section. You have any questions, don't be shy.

I’ll second the THANKS to the guys on this forum. I’m new to this as well (2019 Lariat 6.7) and have learned a lot of useful stuff here. Also, I agree with the suggestion re: getting a tool like IDash or something to monitor what’s going on, especially with the DPF and regen status.

also there’s a lot of info on the forum about protecting your fuel system from water and other contaminates. That’s really important.

have fun.

Sounds like you and I have pretty much the same truck optioned the same way. I bought mine a year ago and absolutely love it. Sounds like you did slightly better than I did on price. But that's what I get for passing on a left over 2018 and ordering a 2019 back in September 2018. Enjoy!

I will look into some type of display as i would like to know when its in regen mode. I was pretty sure it was in one on our drive today cause the mpg were not great for about 15-20 minutes and then it started climbing shortly after.

Congrats and welcome! Going to recommend the Banks SuperGauge for a power/torque boost, monitoring a plethora of different engine/trans/dpf parameters...all while keeping your factory warranty intact.

If you happen to have a ScanGauge ll left over from a previous truck, it'll work for a lot of things including EGT's. I sent mine back to the factory and they updated it for the 6.7 for free. I had previously used it for a 6.0. Linear Logics was great to work with. Call them before shipping.
