These are great old photos! It is interesting that so many people had a new Ford truck. You are making great progress on your truck build!
My guess is that everyone in the photos are German soldiers meaning that the photos were taken after Germany invaded Norway between April and June 1940. The military always seems to have vehicles that the average person can't afford or get.

My friend here in the US bought and brought home several Fords after he was discharged in 46.
Yosemite Green is a nice color choice ( my 40 car is that color). Don't see that much these days.
Thanks, yes... all the trucks on theese pics was from the apx 400 trucks that came to Norway april 8, 1940(shiped from the US to Finland.. but landed in Norway) and whitch the germans put in their service... the pics is from building an airstrip in mid/North Norway.
I was not happy with the dashbord and rear wall..... i repainted...... My head lamp buckets.... sooo Nice.. I altso have another project going on....restoring a 1973 AMF aeromacci Harley Davidson Z-90 ...i will never get it original ,so i decided to build a cafe racer and paint the tank Yosemite green....and put the bike on the trucks bed....
Put on the cab for last time👍😁... My grandpa painted the "bodybelt" Black... so i had to do the same🤪😁 assemble the running kit and window home in my garage.
Thats a little part of the problem.. i dont want it to look too good either... the cab have had a hard life, 80 years old and survived 5years of war... it looks good in the pictures, but its no problem to see marks and wear under the paint, there are some paint runnings and saggings that i wetsand and buff and polish.. the reason for repaint was because i wetsanded trough the paint few places...I now understand why it takes 4 years of school to become a proffesional carpainter 😂i have to put it in the sun light few years and use it a lot to get some patina back...
The green colour is just amazing... Cant wait to see all parts assembled in sunlight 👍🇺🇲🇧🇻
Dang, If I knew the hood would look that good I would have asked more when I sold it to you. Haha. Just kidding. Everything looks amazing. Like you I can't wait to see the finished truck. That first drive will be awesome.
