2008 Passenger Mirror Fix
The mirror on the passenger side has come loose in its mounts. When I close the door or hit a bump it will swing in towards the truck. Is there a way to adjust the tension inside the assembly? Or do I have to get a new assembly?
Mine are the electric, heated and telescoping mirrors. I priced one mirror at almost $500 so you can see why I would want to fix it vs replace it.

Try taking molding off and tighten it up at the door. Here’s a link for a pair of new mirrors...
