6.7 delete cost???

Varies greatly. Not 1 answer.
doing it yourself or shop
deleting egr or just disconnecting it?
how many tunes(need at least 1)
which tuner
downpipe all the way back?
could be anywhere from 1000 to 3000 roughly.
its harder to find tuners on line now because of epa. You need to call and speak to shops to buy a tuner because of epa fines. They have them but many wont sell on line anymore. Only face to face.

If it ain't broke don't fix it. By the way if you do have a problem it may be more cost effective to just fix the truck. I do hear of LOT"S of people who have done this and throw codes all over the place. Dealers are reluctant to fix trucks with a delete and a tune. Some will depending on the problem Also if you go to the dealer and there is a update they will automatically upload that for you unless you instruct them you have a tune. There is more to this than bolting on a few parts and letting her rip.

If the EPA is cracking down on diesel tuners now, what makes you think the feds or states won't go after deleted trucks and their owners in the future? I remember when there was no such thing as an emission testing of cars. Now 33 states test vehicle emissions.

I guess it's a good thing I don't live there.

Well....not to make this thread into a total Political shift. I wouldn't plan on anything further happening, from the current administration in office. With the current gaggle of opponents, I seriously doubt there will be any new resident in the White House until 2024. Obama didn't do much for EPA crap, neither will the next loon.
I've been driving diesels since 1996, and I've heard the rumblings of emissions testing since that year lol.

It's been illegal to modify the PCV system since 1968, but people do it all the time (How many chrome air cleaners have been installed since then?)
It's been illegal to remove the EGR since 1972, but people do it all the time (Edelbrock, Weiand, Offenhauser built there business on intake manifolds)
The Feds/State won't come after you at your house, or on the side of the highway per se... but will definitely ding you when it comes time to registering your truck and needing inspections and emissions testing

It's been illegal to remove catalytic convertors since 1975, but people do it all the time. (How many cars have performance exhaust since then?)

I visited a reputable long time diesel shop in the local area back in November of 2018 and they deleted the DPF, added a 4" pipe and Flo Pro muffler, installed SCT tuner, added the CP4 disaster prevention kit, and installed the inter-cooler pipe upgrade.
I bought the NO LIMIT 6.7 EGR BLOCK OFF SET #67BPK for $100 and installed myself.
The shop told me I didn't have to delete the EGR as the tuner will just tune it out. However for $100 I wanted to preserve the EGR in case I had to ever go back to stock.
$1800 parts, $600 labor
About 4 months ago I had a muffler shop install a longer muffler for $200 in addition to the Flo Pro muffler so I didn't have any drone. I would recommend not ever installing the Flo-Pro if you don't like drone. Just install the longest muffler you can buy.
Was it worth deleting? Every penny!
I also sold my DPF for $350 on Craigslist, although in hindsight I should have kept it just in case Texas goes communist, like Kalifornia.

I love people like you that rant deleting is the devil! If the guy wants to delete let him delete. I see nothing wrong with it. Mines all stock for now and I am on the fence. I see nothing wrong with the way the truck runs but know all that **** going back into my motor is god awful for it.
