Where's the pics man? Almost sounds like my 800k engine taking a dump, but I had coolant in the oil and blow by was well beyond exaggerated and oil consumption was bad. I rebuild it myself came out good too, I have a build thread as well but mine was a slow and still on going work in progress.

Damnit, you know what, I just realized I'm copying the URL from PSN, but they're not coming through for those people that dont have a PSN account. I'll get them reuploaded.
There we go, I reuploaded all the pics, higher resolution too.
I ended up getting hit on the passenger bed side before the motor rebuild, so the bed on it in these pictures is my replacement I bought.
I also finally bought a 4" exhaust to finish it all off, I was just running a downpipe for a longtime, and it gets old quick..
I tried to paint it myself and I failed miserably, I'm terrible at painting lol.
Next mod was a fuel sump. I no longer could fill my front tank, no matter how slow, so I pulled the tank. I also was getting some pretty bad injector cackle from air in the system, so a sump on the rear tank went in. WAY better!
In the summer of 2017 I was driving to work when all of a sudden the truck started running like *****. So I limped it back home and checked over every sensor/wire/UVCH/ etc. Swapped around injector solenoids, and no dice. Turned out being a bad IDM that was shutting down the entire passenger side bank for no apparent reason. I bought 2 known good ones on PSA, and I now keep one as a backup in the truck. Good as new.
The following month, towing a 10klbs trailer down a 7% grade, I had the trans throw a code P1728, P0560, and P1464. Basically a torque converter slip fault. Trans was essentially toasted. So I called around and did MAJOR research on all the best trans builders. BTS, John Woods, DieselSite, Monster, and Factory Ford. Long story short, I decided to go with a DieselSite trans after BTS had a ridiculous wait time, and John Woods wouldn't get back to me after a dozen phone calls and half a dozen emails, I gave up. Monster is crap, and Factory Ford Reman was what was in it at the time, so I didn't want another one. I did a very in depth write up about it, and other parts I installed at the same time here: https://www.powerstrokenation.com/fo...od-review.html Lots of really good pics in there, and some detailed info about the trans, and other parts that DieselSite sells.
I also cleaned out underneath the truck with a pressure washer for about 1 1/2 hours, still not completely clean, but I was happy.
Got the hitch all welded in. Airbag mounts on. And of course, we have to test out the airbags right??? Rougly 6,000lbs of Garnet (sand) on there. Headache rack done and welded on.
Since I had an aftermarket steering wheel, I finally mounted my cruise control buttons in the dash, and re-wired them to work without the steering wheel clock spring thingy.
I also made this plate that the Hydra tuner bolted to, kept it off the dash, and is easily accessible.
Then, to get back onto the flatbed, I wasn't happy with the hitches "backbone" so I remade it. All 3/8" steel plate, keyed together and mig welded. Needless to say, way unnecessarily overkill!
Then I built an extension for the flatbed. Specifically so that I could fit our 2 seat Can-Am x3 on the back. It slid into the receiver and then 2 bolts at the top located it. It worked well, but was very heavy and a 2 man job to install.
Redesigned my lower airbag mount to utilize the u-bolt spring plate. Made the lower half be the u-bolt plate, and then a top half captures around it, supplying the mounting flange for the airbag itself.
Thanks guys! I appreciate the kind words! I'm not going into as much detail as I did on my build thread on PSN, but when I catch up to more recent stuff, I'll start posting even more pics and descriptions, especially because I still have a long way to go to finish this build.

Glad you came over. I knew there would be a good group of guys that would appreciate this build as much as I have.
