remote keyless entry not working 2004 e250
I have a 2004 e-250 van. The inside locks work when I push the door button. When I try to use the fob nothing happens. I have changed the battery, checked the fuse and tried to reprogram the fob with turning the ignition 8 times. On the 8 time the locks engage, but the fob will not engage the lock. What else could be my problem. Not sure where to go.

I've posted this a few times, but I had the same problem on my '06. Ordered new fobs and those didn't work either. Unplugged the RKE module and let it sit overnight (disconnecting battery should do the same) and reconnected the next morning and all of the remotes worked! (new ones after programming). Two years later still no issues...So at least try that before spending any money. I now have four working remotes! LOL!
