keyless entry system not working
Tried to program keyless entry system and read the directions for a 2004 F350. Turn key off and on quickly and on 8th time doors should lock and unlock, but they don't. Am I doing something wrong?

Yes, you are doing something wrong. When I did mine it took a few tries. I put the key position in the middle between on and off, and started from there. It seems like there is a stopping point in the middle. You need to keep trying, and when you get it right, you will know, because the locks will lock, and unlock. Good luck.

Kink, did you ever figure out your issue? I am having similar problem...not just with cycling ignition between 3 and 4 eight times, but the keyless entry on the door does not respond at all, so believe they are related...
May be fuse, but can't find one out or one direclty related to keyless entry operations.
By way, the keyless entry on the door is not the wireless with battery, it is original wired keypad.
