I have a 2013 King Ranch with the power folding and power telescoping mirrors. Yesterday I was swirving to avoid another vehicle that was pushing into my lane and hit a telephone pole with my mirror. The glass shattered and plastic went everywhere but the folding and telescopic movement still works fine. To replace the entire mirror that would have the power features would be 800 a pair. Since I really just need a new plastic housing and heated mirror I was wondering if any of yall could help me out with if its possible to buy a mirror with power adjustment and thats heated and put it on the rails I have currently so I can avoid that hefty cost. Thanks yall.
Hard to know exactly what you need, but you might check out this link to Autonation Ford: Linky
Looks like complete mirrors range from $600-900 EACH, and there are some parts. I see the heated glass, but if your housing is shattered, I think there is no choice but to buy the entire mirror.
That sucks because the mirrors on these trucks are expensive. But look on the good side you didn't hit that telephone pole head on!
I would guess the King Ranch trim level is going to have all the options on that mirror.
Power Telescoping, Power Fold, Heated, and Memory. Only you can tell us if you have chrome, painted, or just black grained housing covers.
I personally would bite the bullet and buy a whole new mirror or source one from a salvage yard. In order to replace just the housing the entire mirror needs to be disassembled as far as I remember and it's not an easy task.
These mirrors have plastic gears inside and it's only a matter of time before they fail. Since you whacked it on a telephone pole there is a good chance it will stop working sooner than later.

OP, if the housing is still solid and the functions still work, I would just repair the housing with epoxy. I know the mirrors are gone as I've hit something not once but twice with my passenger mirror. One was a highway marker riding the shoulder getting off the Thruway and the second was a mailbox out where I live. There are Super Duty tow mirror killers everywhere!
My buds at their collision shop epoxied after the second hit, then once cured, sanded down, filled with body filler, sand, spray with texture paint and then a final coat with flat black trim paint. Like new. The second hit was what cracked it.
I bought Gruven parts brass gear shafts when I thought I had a problem but didn't. So I let it go for now. No use ripping apart a functioning mirror. If I have problems down The road, I have the upgrade parts, including the motors.
I ordered my heated main mirror and concave mirror from villagefordparts.com They are OEM parts that you can't buy at the dealer.
