Passenger Side Mirror
Just broke my passenger side mirror. Just the upper black plastic that holds on the mirror glass and the mirror itself. The plastic part that attaches to the truck is still intact. They are not the huge telescoping ones but the low profile ones. They are power. No heat or turn signals just power that moves the mirror glass. Questions are this. #1.Can I buy just the upper part of the mirror or do I have to buy the whole setup? Guy at work just broke one and he got the whole setup for $150. He has to replace the whole thing though. #2 Do I have to remove the door panel to replace the upper part or can I just do it through the mirror? #3 Any special tricks or things to worry about? Any help is appreciated. THANKS IN ADVANCE!

You can buy just the mirror and cut it to fit your needs. Or you can go to Ford and Purchase it for $150. What ever fits your need. I broke my driver side mirror once (Big Towing Mirrors) and their was no need to take off the Door panel. Take off the platic cover on the bottom right of the door. It is about 4 screws and a plug for the power mirror. I would suggest buying the whole applications becuase maybe when replacing just the broken part won't fix the power moving mirror. Just my 2cents.
