That looks like a great way to go.

W/ the Fel Pro kit ------ Same issue on standpipes - might be needed, might not. Also, late 04 and up EGR cooler gasket set and blue hose looks to be possibly needed w/ the Fel Pro kit, as well as a new oil cooler reservoir screen.

Also, with any of these kits, the updated dummy plugs may be needed if not already done, and adding exhaust manifold gaskets made sense to me.

Details on the add-ons mentioned above -
Standpipes ONLY: (late 04-07) One standpipe need 2 - ($100) 6E7Z-9A332-A
EGR cooler gasket set and blue hose ($87) - 3C3Z-9433-BJ
HPOP Filter Screen (oil cooler screen) - ($12) 3C3Z-6C683-AB
Exhaust manifold gasket need 2 - ($27) 6C3Z-9448-A
Dummy rail plugs ONLY: (late 04 - 07) need 2 - W302908

Note a kit for BOTH dummy plugs and Standpipes is $111 - 6E7Z-9A332-B if you need both

I am in the same boat with ordering parts. Here is what I have on my list so far:

2 FelPro 18mm head gasket x2

5 Ford stand pipe kit 6C3Z9448A (Comes with 2 standpipes and dummy plugs)
6 Ford Exhaust manifold bolts x16 3C3Z-9S425-AA
7 Ford Exhaust manifold bolt spacers x16 3C3Z-9A461-AA
8 Ford EGR install kit with blue hose 3C3Z-9433-BJ
9 Ford Thermostat 3C3Z-8575-AA

I am still trying to decide on new injectors or just new seals. I do have 3 that are a bit cranky.
