When I swapped mine out with a Mishi I over tightened one of the clamps which broke it. Had to put one of the Ford clamps on. IMHO the torque specification on these things is not enough. After putting my truck back together from the CP4 debacle I had a boost leak. Had to torque one of the clamps down more. For a while I was on the hunt for better clamps. Wasn’t having much luck and the ones on the truck seemed to be holding so I gave up. Might be time to go back out there and start looking again.

Bohen, 40 pounds? Foot or inch? Foot would do it, I think the instructions are slightly less than 40 inch pounds which for me wasn't enough.

I used my calibrated hands and arm muscles to tighten my clamps with a 1/4" ratchet. Works great, no problems in 2 years with clamps nor hose nor leaks.
