That is a very sharp truck. Really dig that you are keeping the color as is.
What do you think of the carpet you got?

The rubber floor from dc is top shelf fits just like original with minimal trimming. This is the second one I have installed. Purchased one from jbg for my bronco years ago I think Acc brand it was total crap.

One down three to go, not to bad just lots of beating to get old tires off rims. 7.50-16 deestone d-305 tires on amazon for $90 and free shipping. I like the looks of the original bias-ply tires. I know radial tires are better all around and I have two other trucks I can swap tires on if I want to drive this thing more than around town.

Sure is a good looking truck.
I do have some concerns though. When you air up your tires, are you using a tire cage or what?

That's when I figured out my dad did not care for me to much. All the split rims were mine to do as a 14 year old. When I put the first ring on the garage roof I realized what I was playing with. I think a few guys were killed by them. Be careful, I used to wrap a couple of chains around them. Nice score on the truck.

Putting them under the arms of a hoist also works.
I heard of a couple of guys losing their heads back in the eighties. Very sad about that.

I air them up remotely from inside my garage using a air pressure regulator.

Replaced the front brake calipers and pads also packed bearings and installed a lockouts. Installed new master cylinder and all brake hoses. Replaced the rear brake shoes and wheel cylinders. Had to install a speedi sleeve on one spindle. Ran new brake lines on rear axle. Was lucky enough to be able to swap all the rear brake components from another 60 I had taken out of my other truck that had all new brake components.
Brake booster Is leaky but have had no luck finding replacement for cardone 54-73112.
