Tunes
Does Casey write tunes for the Hydra? I have his drop in Kc-TP38r turbo on my 95 7.3 engine for 2 years. I have AC 160 injectors inter cooler 4 in exhaust electric fuel ect ect. I have 1023 tunes which i,m having troubles with . Hard to get a hold of Dusty, phone calls or e-mails. I have not called Casey. just wondering if any one has knowledge of if they has tunes

Jake, what 1023 tunes do you have an what trouble are you having? I haven't talked or emailed to Dusty for several months but when I did he was very responsive. 1023 Diesel has a facebook page (if you do facebook) and a message there might get his attention. Riffraff sells several tuners tunes, you might talk to him and get his opinion - almost guaranteed he will get right back to you.

The tunes that I have are Whisper Med tow Heavy tow Daily Economy Street shredder which I have never used. The problem is when I go into passing gear [down shift foot or push button ] the jolt or harsh shift is AM I going to break something? The normal driving up shifts are beautiful. & also when slowing down beautiful. I also have Tony Wildman tunes on another chip. It works smooth no jolts. Is more smokey & not as good fuel mileage. I tired Dan,s [SDK tunes] on the Hydra chip & they do the same hard downshift . Dan drove with me & said thats too hard on the torque converter. He re wrote some different tunes same bad results. . We then phoned Dusty & he tired some other tunes. All bad. Terrible downshift Dusty then sent a PHP 65 hp tune on the hydra chip & it works perfect , no hard down shift but very smokey. Dusty said he would work on the problem that was 6 weeks ago, but no new tunes. Tired so many times to get a call to him & e-mails [mail box full] so thats my problem. Friskyjjake

I tired to phone KC turbo.s Corey Hurtt He was not in but will be back Tues. The girl i talked with said that he does write tunes In my previous e-mails I mistakenly call his name Casey that was wrong my bad. friskyjake
