forscan help

Hi guys, just made a change with forscan on my 19 F150 to disable the start stop. Change seems to be working but now it gets a dtc error when I went to do a few more changes. I have tried to reset the dtc codes and all I get is an error. Anybody run into this? Cant get in to be able to change it back or make any other changes.

There is a tutorial for using Forscan and getting rid of the codes.
Have you read it? If not, Here is a link...https://docs.google.com/document/d/1...it?usp=sharing

Hopefully that helps you.

Do you remember what the DTC code was ? I got one when I disabled Start/Stop, I cleared it using Forscan and it never returned.

First off, I hope you made a backup of your AS Built configuration ?

I assume this is where you made the changes ?

BCM 726-48-02 x0xx xxxx xxxx turns off A.S.S.
FCIM 7A7-01-01 xxxx x0xx xxxx disables A.S.S. switch
IPC 720-01-01 xxxx 1xxx xxxx stops A.S.S. icon from displaying on dash

Can you further explain what the problem is when you try to edit these codes or capture the screen and paste them in your next response, so we can see what is happening.

I've turned mine on and off several times in testing with no problems.

I will try and connect again this week. If I get the error again, I will take a pic.
I did the BCM and IPC changes in as built
Thanks for the response

I didn't know if you had read that particular write-up, that's all I could offer.
Hopefully Storage_man can help you out.

Thanks, just frustrating. I have made many changes with my SD and never had a problem. I will reconnect hopefully tonight and see if I still have a problem. If I do I will take screenshot of the faults and maybe someone has seen the same thing and can point me in the right direction. At least the truck is working like it should with no check engine light.

I got it all straightened out last night. The problem was in the profile. Deleted the old profile and plugged back in and downloaded the modules again and was able to make all my changes. Thanks for the help guys and to all the ones that figured out all these neat features that we can turn on to customize our trucks to our liking.
