this may sound stupid but just as the title says. My CEL keeps coming on, my scangauge says it has 2 stored codes but when i hit previous or next the only one i get is P0000 which is apparantly nothing. If it says there's 2 stored codes why cant i read them??

 

Not sure, I haven't had that happen as of yet. But, not sure about this, it has recorded the same code twice?

Unplug the Scangauge for a minute and hook it back up. You wont lose anything by doing this. This will reset the SGII. Maybe it had a conflict.

 

Also, if you aren't experiencing any running issues you can clear the code and see if it comes back. I never been able to clear one while driving. I wait until the next time I'm about to start it, and clear it before I'm running again.

 

yes i've cleared the codes four times and it comes back a couple days later, and everytime the SG says it has 2 stored codes but it just wont show them

 

nobody knows how to retrieve codes??

 

Give scangauge a call. They're usually quite helpful.

 

I did it the other day on a chev when the maf sensor was unplugged

I hit scan for codes it did and also displayed the code and gave me the option to see freeze frame data

IDK if it makes a diff but the cel was on at the time I scanned for the code

but did nothing special after I hit scan for codes it all just popped up IIRC
