Help

95 f250 5 speed. Cranks and idles fine but when I put it in 1st or reverse and let out in the clutch it wants to spit and sputter and eventually die out. Jacked rear end up and turned wheels and it also dies. Any idea what it could be

The place to start is to check your codes as your symptoms could be a variety of things. Vacuum leaks, low fuel pressure, timing, leaking capacitors etc.

Even though it also does it in neutral at idle when you have rear end jacked up and spin tires over with your hand?

Gotta agree that is strange. This is even more reason to run codes. Other than sheer coincidence in timing, I don't think anyone at this point could give you an answer that wasn't a guess. Do you know how to run the codes? Sandy

You don't have a seized up brake caliper, do you? Check to make sure all the wheels can spin. My parking brake froze up in january and even the mighty idi choked and died before it moved.
