Decode these codes ??
'90 300 I-6 w/ E4OD transmission
I have the following codes, any ideas on what they mean ??
No KoEo codes
Continuous codes are:
49- SPOUT signal default to 10 degreees BTDC
or
1-2 shift error [E4OD ]
59- 2-3 shift error [E4OD]
or
Low Speed fuel pump failure
62- Converter clutch error [E4OD]
Since I have the E4OD transmisssion and all three codes indicate a problem with transmission, I suspect my problem has something to do with the transmission [duh !!!] Problem is I do not feel any problems with the transmission. I was checking codes because of slightly rough idle, tough to start/stalls cold, a bit of hesitation on acceleration. Any ideas, gents ??
Haven't checked running codes yet, too cold outside.

Look at those codes and symtoms. Low Speed fuel pump failure matches your starting/stalling idle and hesitation pretty well. Your timing is also in question and that can cause hesitation. Check the timing and fuel pressure.
