I have replaced all 4 bulbs put in New tail light assembly. New brake light switch,and replaced the fuse. And still have no brake light or turn signal. Someone please help me out
first off I don't know what year you are talking about and 2nd tossing a bunch of new parts in generally doesn't fix anything......
do you know how to use a Voltmeter or a Test Light ?
IF so I might be able to help you.... First off we have to find out what is Common to all the Failure items you have then we can pick a place to start troubleshooting
1978 f100 custom camper special. Yes I can operate multimeter test light I have power to the brake light switch and power coming out but it's not making it to the back of the truck
you can Jump a 12 volt Test wire to the Terminals on the Turn Signal Switch to verify that the various rear Lamps will light up OR you can use the Test light to verify voltage is present on the switch terminals.
Turn signals are working but I will check tomorrow
then the turn signal switch is the Common Point when wire 810 goes Hot then the brake Lamp should be lit as it is the same as the turn signal when 810 is HOT it puts power to wire 282 and 283 and ya it's late tonight
