Getting a tbc fault code in my 06 f250. Took another members advice and took the plug apart to inspect for corrosion. The plug was full of water and all the pins had little to moderate corrosion on them. Cleaned plug and plug in with contact cleaner the best I could and put it back together and I'm still getting that code. I'm guessing I need to replace the plug in. Anyone have a link to the exact plug in?
What is the code? I'd recommend using Forscan to test the inputs and outputs of the TBC module to verify your diagnosis.
What harness are you looking for? The pigtail that plugs in at the frame on one end and the other end plugs into the back of the 7-way trailer plug on the hitch?
