A good ending to code p0670
I'm a newbie, just registered a couple of days ago. My 2004 f350 6.0 set codes 0671 and 0673 then 0675 and you guessed it 0677. A test of the glow plugs proved they were all OK so I put the system back together. Next I was presented with code 0670. After inspecting everything on the right bank of the engine I replaced the Glow Plug Control Module but that didn't change a thing. One thing I noticed that I couldn't confirm that the green plug was in fact fully inserted and Locked.Next I positioned the green plug for inspection. I found that the green "O" ring that is supposed to be in a channel at the near end of the plug was dislodged and half way down the plug body. I then re-positioned and lubed the "O" ring with silicone. When I re-connected the plug I made sure to Feel and Hear the "click" of the retainer. NO MORE 0670! Hope this helps someone.
