I picked up a 06 7 lug truck. I know 7 lug wheels are hard to find.
What is different in the suspensions?
I know the obvious like rearend and rotors. What else would I need to swap out to change it to the 6 lug?

The "7700" F150's are basically F-250's with an F-150 body.
Theres nothing wrong with it. My son would rather the 6 lug because its easier to find any kind of wheels for it
You're going to go through more expense swapping rear ends than if you just found a set of wheels he could live with. But hey, it's your dime and your time...

Negative, nothing close. The trucks have the same light duty 8.8 IFS front with 7 lug hub ends, the rear axle is a semi floating 10.5 axle with 7 lugs. No parts from a Superduty involved in these trucks.

I looked into the "7700" series F150 extensively. Perhaps it was only the older models and the 11th Gen were different? Here's a post about them...
Not sure they made an HD model F150 for the 11th gen body.
The information is correct in that thread, but nothing corresponds to a F250 Superduty. Remember the 7700 series is just the continuation of the F250 LD which really wasn't a F250 at all in any form.
