Adding Glowshift Gauges to Truck

Sorry if this has been asked before but need suggestions

I AM going with a 3 gauge A-pillar pod set up for my 2008 F-350
I have a Trans. Temp Gauge and I'm wondering what the other 2 should be to help monitor engine while towing mt 2012 Sandpiper 365SAQ .
  • Dimensions. 41.58 ft.Long 13 ft. tall and 7 ft. wide
  • Weight. Dry 11,873 lbs. Pin 2,060 lbs.

What are the next 2 important ones?

A Oil Temp and EGT Temp gauge??

Coolant and oil temp.

Boost guage is pretty accurate.

Fuel pressure gauge is an almost have to have item.

I monitor coolant and oil temp (and the delta), transmission temp and a host of other things with Torque Pro. The only two gauges I have are fuel pressure and EGT.

I believe your 2008 diesel is a 6.4L, this is the 6.7L forum.
After 11 years it may be better that you spend your $ on a significant upgrade, the 6.7L engine.

Generally anything after 2014 will provide you with a worry-free experience - with little need to monitor additional things.

I think this is a towing section and just not a 6.7 section.

But it to the OP. I would run coolant temp oil temp trans temp and then many fuel pressure

Those two would be good choices, but you might be better off asking in the forum specific to your engine. This 5th wheel forum is a pretty broad knowledge base unless you are talking 5th wheels or towing heavy.

Heat kills. Engine and transmissions cost $. I agree with the previous suggestions for temperature gauges on engine oil/coolant/transmission oil...
