Which Gauges Do I Need?

I have a F250, 6.0 Lariat, Fx4 with a 4” Donahoe lift and 35" tires. I have a 30' toyhauler that weighs in at about 12,000 lbs. I do at least one 600 mile trip a month usually up and down interstate 8 near San Diego. The grade in either direction is pretty tough. I have no mods except the ones previously mentioned! I would like to keep a beter eye on whats going on than I can with the provided gauges. The existing boost gauge is fine. I am considering a pre-turbo pyrometer, and a transmission temp gauge. I can have (3) three gauges. Which gauges do I need? Thanks for your help!

NEED EGT Pre-Turbo and Trans Temp. Other than that, what do you want? Alot of guys like a voltmeter to keep an eye on the charging system. Others like a Water Temp gauge because the stock one is more like an analog idiot light, it won't tell you anything until it's too late. I'd go for either a Water Temp or Oil Temp just to keep an eye on the engine since you pull. The Water Temp is a bit easier to get installed.

I'd go for a the boost pressure gauge. That way you can also see what the turbo is putting out.

Basically all the factory gauges except the boost are junk. Get an EGT (most important for towing), tranny temp, and engine oil pressure or temperature. Engine oil temp is very very close to coolant temp because of the engine oil cooler.

In addition to the ones already mentioned, a fuel pressure guage is good. If you see the fuel pressure consistently lower, it may mean your fuel filter is clogged and low fuel pressure will damage your injectors.

Those are fine and add a Volt meter guage too.
