Hard start
Just a quick question hopefully someone can help me. I have a 96 f350 7.3 psd and after i let it sit over night its very hard to start in the morning. i will keep cranking and cranking, sometimes i crank it so much that the batteries die. When it does try and start it sounds like it ran out of fuel the way it spits and sputters. I have brand new batteries, terminals the connections are good the terminals are clean i have oil in it and i get my fuel from speedway and have never had a problem before, also when i drive it will be blowing black smoke like normal and after about 3-4 minutes of driving it will start blowing white/blue smoke when i get on it. I'm not sure what to check now my friend suggested the started but it cranks fast so i don't think it would be the starter but i could be wrong if anyone has had this problem please let me know.
