Front Drive shaft rebuld vs replace

New Shaft on ebay CRS for 255

or

3 spicer U joints 75
Cardan weld yoke 75
Cardan center yoke 65

Is it worth it to rebuild for this cost?
What are your thoughts?
My double cardan is shot, the pin broke off on weld yoke

If the new shaft comes with all u joints, get the new one. Unless you can cut and weld the new yoke on. The shaft should be balanced after the new yoke is welded on.

Do you have a drive shaft shop local would be the bigger factor. Also is that eBay part used or new? Is it good quality parts or China trash?
Good luck on the repair either way. Gotta have that 4wd!

Like he says above, a local shop might be your best bet. What about shipping on the ebay driveshaft and does it come with Spicer USA u-joints?

I'd check eBay for NOS. I just purchased one for mine and it has all Spicer joints. The part number you will need for a ZF is F1TZ-4A376-C. That's the Ford service part# from TSB 97-13-22.

Check the package of the spicer u joints, they are not USA forged or finished anymore. Unless you stumble on some old stock been like this since 2012.
