I tried sending you a private message but it said that you have exceeded your stored messages so you might want to clear some of those up I'm wondering if you could provide the part number for the stand that the ram mounts are mounted to and the ram mounts you used with that wireless charger as I have the same one. I've gone through the thread a couple times and I haven't seen any part numbers so if I missed it I apologize. Thanks
I’ll clear those out - thanks.
heres the amazon links from above:m with some clarification:
Glad to get another happy mount out there... Even if that dude above thinks we are all going to die and get arrested for having phone mounts (not necessarily in that order!)
I did the ram mounts but was too cheap to buy the built right bracket for my new work truck. Did a quick bracket and easy for folks to copy. Yes the dash is dirty and the windshield is cracked with 2k miles
Has anyone found a way to split the usb in the cubby forward of the center console lower part of the dash? I want to put my phone on a mount like section179 but be able to connect with sync.

If you pull the console apart you can remove the USB ports and connect a usb cable behind the cubby rather than in it, then put a blank piece of plastic over the hole.
Section179, I want to be able to still use the 2 USB ports in the cubby. I want to add an additional one in the cubby on top of the dash, along with a power adapter.

Unfortunately the sync system doesn’t support hubs, so there is no way to add and keep ports.
You could relocate the sync ports and replace them with power only, that might do what you want.
The apim has a black and gray connector. Every video I have seen shows the black connector connected to the USB. From what I can see, the gray looks like the same connector. Could this be another USB port?

Mirror image? Dunno what to expect with that connector.
Is there a phone holder that has the 1" ball on it that will work with the Ram mounts? And not the Ram X-mount...I want a mount that has something under the phone for it to sit on...not just a friction grip on the sides. All I am finding is vent or suction mounts.

If you go through my list of parts above you’ll figure out what I did. I found several mounts with 17mm ball sockets (not advertised, discovered by buying) and then got a 17mm to 1” ball adapter.
You could also get the pro clip for your phone and a ball plate

Thanks! I clicked on a few of your links, but definitely missed the adapter.
I have been using Bluetooth lately, and when I do, it silences my phone automatically to any texts or messages that come through. I don't like that. So if I could see my phone, it would help.
