Possibly good news for the OP. In that case, the dealer can fix this.

Thank you to all that have given me some insight, there is a lot of good information here.

Since i last tuned in, the p20ba code has been taken care of and I have successfully eliminated my check engine codes. While some are for and some are against, I deleted the dpf and also purchased an sct x4 tuner.

After installing the dpf delete and tuner, truck ran great and had great amounts of power. However, this morning on my way to work I again noticed the loss of power/boost. I’m not really sure that it is a substantial loss of power, but the truck will not reach 20 psi of boost and it makes the truck feel very sluggish. Another detail I noticed during the decreased power/boost was a slight howling sound when I would get on the throttle, to me sounding like an air leak. Hard to pinpoint from the cab, and impossible to find if looking under the hood with no load.

I would assume that that if there was a cracked cac pipe (hot or cold) or a hole in a boot somewhere I would notice/hear the loss of power/boost ALL the time not just at random moments.

Are there know issues with the turbo? Or is there any way of testing for leaks/cracks?

If if anyone could shed some light on possible causes, I would greatly appreciate it!

I had this exact issue. Was first quoted $1,600 to fix it but they called back and said it would be free because of 18M01G. Sweet!

Last month (Feb 2022) I received a letter from Ford stating that the Reductant Heater was now covered for 11 years or 120K miles. Mine went out at 55K miles, just 5K beyond warranty. I used my Ford extended warranty for the original repair. I am able to get my expenses of the repair refunded (only $100). I started that process today. Check should arrive in 5-6 weeks.
