P20BA Reductant Heater A Code

I have a 2011 F250 with 44000 miles on it. I just go the dreaded P20BA code. I bought the Dorman heater assembly unit from Rock Auto and just installed it. Cranked it up and the check engine light and a wrench light are still on. Anyone have any input that may help? very frustrating.....

Did you clear the codes? Some codes require you to use a code reader to erase from the PCM.

Some codes require a drive cycle to clear from PCM even if the CEL light is off.

No, I didn't clear the codes. I'll try that. Do you have the steps to perform the drive cycle?

How hard was it to install? I have the same part ordered for mine and was planning on changing it this weekend.

It wasn't that bad. The hardest part was reaching on top of the tank to disconnect the harness. Make sure you give yourself some slack in the injector line that runs to the exhaust on the passenger side. Pop the tabs that hold it in place, this will let you lower the tank and unhook it from the fitting on the pump.

so I did the drive cycle and the wrench light cleared. I ponied up and bought a code scanner that has the erase code feature and the code cleared. Truck runs great and is reading the DEF level again on the dash.. Thanks for the insight. Let me know if anyone needs some help with the install and clearing, be happy to save anyone the pain of going to the dealer for a runaround.
