P20BA and P20E8 CEL Codes problems

I looked around and saw a few threads with the codes but didn't see any with my problem. A few weeks back my '13 F 250 6.7 had it's CEL turn on and went i took it to a Autozone they gave me the P20BA code. My truck has 65,000 miles so I've been out of the warranty stage for a while. I did a little research and found out it had to do with the DEF tank heater. Ended up buying the whole unit which comes with the tube that goes in the DEF tank with the little motor or heater on top and ended costing me around $700. Installed it myself and reset the truck to clear the CEL. Drove it around for 2 hours or so and CEL light pops back on. Took it to get it tested to see if i got the same code and now I'm getting a P20E8 code. This code is supposed to mean that it has low pressure in the tank. Anyone know what could be causing this now?

Did you figure out what the problem was? The exact same thing is happening to my truck!

Just gave up honestly, drove the truck around with the CEL on since it didn’t directly impact the truck. Truck flooded during harvey and is currently in the shop so might never know what problem was

Truck came out the shop with the CEL still with the same code so I just ended up deleting it. Have not one problem since then.

has anyone figured anything out? I just changed the tank heater for a code and now I have the 20E8 too. I have a monitor app and I can see the DPF pressure but the light keeps coming on.

Of course this happens two weeks before I'm supposed to sell it...

Id take it to the dealer and have them inspect if if you’re selling it, DEF and DPF are huge pains in the ***, i’d recommend deleting the truck. I did it and I haven’t had any problems since!

Is Deleting the only fix? I replaced the DEF heater and pump earlier this spring in my 2013 F250 6.7L - can't remember the code. No codes since then. It came time to replace the water separator filter and did that but, broke the connector to the sensor when doing so. Went on a 7 hour trip pulling my 32' horse trailer and on the way home the check engine light came on. Replaced the sensor and the pump ran all the time and made a loud hum constantly. Pulled the new sensor off and put the old one back on and the humming and pump running all the time problem stopped. Using the OBD-II scanner it pulled two codes - P218F and P20E8 - I erased them thinking it was an issue with the water separator sensor and they went off - after about 50 miles check engine light came back on, ran the scanner and the P20E8 codes is back on. At this point I don't want to start tearing things apart and ordering a bunch of parts. Is there a painless way to determine what the actual issue is in a "Reductant Pressure too Low"?

When I was dealing with the codes and asking around possible issues before deleting, I was told contamination in the DEF fluid lines could be a potential cause of the low pressure message.

Did you install a factory Ford pump or an aftermarket pump?

Evan P - I think the pump is a GWA Auto Parts from Amazon.

That’s likely the problem. I have not seen an aftermarket pump last. Only one that has held up for the trucks I work on is the Ford part.

I am so confused at this point. Replaced the def pump with a OEM part and what a pain in the tail. Dropped the tank and cleaned everything before installing the new pump. After the install I ran it for about 10 miles and the CEL came back on and reading the P204C error. I pulled it back into the garage and checked all of the connectors; reseated the main connector and started to test drive again. About 8 miles down the road the warning for the Exhaust system failure came on and 50 mile warning came on that in 50 MPH it would go into D-Mode. No CEL engine errors so I don't know what to think.... Any ideas? I don't know what to next. Thoughts?
