Tailgate compatibility
I've got a 64 styleside that I need to replace the tailgate on. All of the repros I see state 64-72. I've found one off of a 73, that looks identical to what I currently have (according to online pics). Will the gate off the 73 fit on my 64?

I've got a beautiful one, just sand blasted, needs minor repair. (Dents only no rust)
Only problem I see is that your in N.C. and I'm in So. Cal. shipping would be expensive.

Shipping may still be worth it to me, I'll get back to you within a couple days and let you know. I ended up ordering an outer panel shell for the tailgate last night from LMC, so I'm going to see if I can fix mine with that. If not, I'd definitely be interested in yours. Either way, I've had no luck finding one locally, so no matter which way you look at it, I'm gonna have to ship one to my house whether I buy a repro or a used one.

Same Styleside tailgate: 1964/66 F100/250 2WD; 1966 F100 4WD // Similar: 1967/72 F100/350 (has smaller Ford letters surrounded by a raised ovate scallop line).
All the mounting hardware is exactly the same for these tailgates.

1973/79 F100/350 Styleside tailgate mounting hardware is different except for the supports (aka scissors), that fit all of these tailgates.
This tailgate also looks completely different.
btw: Did you try Flashback F100's in Reidsville NC?
