Got the pivot post. Second door hardware installed. I am happy with the results. The second door was so much easier (I knew the order to do things in) . All that is left for doors is glueing the door seals on. I will wait on that until doors actually go back on the truck. I want to replace screws with stainless steel also. I need to finish a little body work, wash, prep, prime, and paint yet. Then the fun of putting everything back together (if I remember how). I took lots of pictures but you still never have enough.
Have you done door seals like these before? They haunt my dreams. The new seals (that I received anyway) were so hard that my doors never closed. I ended up ripping them off, which took off paint and all, and installing hollow "D" channel stripping with self adhesive 3M tape to the cab instead of the door. My doors now close and no water gets in. I'm not sure what your plan is, but you too might think about that going that route. I'm sure others will chime in on that notion.

On my 55 I used the stock like door seals but they were hollow and they fit fine and doors close as they should.
Be forewarned, you have to have the doors off to put on the seals correctly. My body man said just cut the seal and you'll be able to get them round the hinges. I tried but you can not do it right with all the adhesive on. So I took my doors off and it was easy without making a sticky mess.
Firefighter, just a stock tip here: the door handle should be mounted so that it is pointing between the 10 and 11 on a clock, like a 45° angle.
