Oof. So hard to wait. I guess I'll have to seriously investigate just swapping out to 4.30 gears in my current truck.

Looks like the Chevy 6.6 numbers are out. I doubt the new 7.3 is much better.

Being that the v10 was just shy of 460lbft. And around 360 hp. I am thinking the horsepower will match or be lower than the chevy but the torque will be higher. Hopefully by a decent number maybe 480-490lbft.

I really don't think it will be less than 400 hp and 500 lb/ft.

Heck no... initial orders go in beginning of August, something will need to be released by June or July.

I can't remember the exact day I ordered my 2017 in 2016, I believe it was in May, but when I did we still didn't know the updated specs on the 6.2 I ordered.

hmmmm.... I see your point, but that’s an update to an existing engine versus an unknown engine, yea?

I’m a bit worried there might be issues with the motor. Not only has Ford been mute with any more details, but we haven’t seen/heard of any test mules running around.

How are you going to spot the test mules without opening the hood? I'm sure the new engines slide right into a '19 chassis and you would never know it.

Ford will probably announce everything at once. Still lot's of details unknown and it's crickets on everything. Diesel power ??? Towing and payload ??? Packages ??? potential new options ??? Pricing ??? The esteemed "Mr Truck" even said they told him some things he can't say. A guy like that would never embellish would he?
